Ellie Update: Week 32

The "giving tree" at my school shower!  We're so blessed!
We've made it another week!  This week I have noticed that, yes, I am continuing to grow!  Things have become pretty slow for me and my tiredness is kicking in full blast again!  I had a professional development for school today and was absolutely worn out when I got home.  Amazing how tired sitting can make you!  It was pretty funny, though, when I couldn't fit in the classroom desks.  Thank you, Ellie.
The kind of desk I struggle to fit in nowadays ...
Ellie's room is finally under way!  My friend Mary came over this week to help us start painting.  We should be able to finish this weekend thanks to more fantastic friends and family!  That means that her room should be finished by next weekend, God-willing!  I'm getting pretty excited about that.  Plenty of pictures to come!  My next appointment is Monday, so I'll update with Ellie's progress then!

Baby Gaga:
In the latest womb reports, your amazing baby has now developed sensitivity to temperature! Which means you’re likely to get a swift kick if you put a hot pad or bag of ice on your ginormous belly. For the Elton John lovers out there - baby’s got blue eyes. This could easily change after birth (or even between now and labor), but for the time being, blue it is. Thanks to their recently matured lungs and a strengthening immune system, over 90% of babies born in their 32nd week survive! So - go ahead and throw a mini-party right now because it’s pretty much a done deal - you've got a human-bean that's going to make it! That's not to say you actually want your wee womb-squatter to pack their bags and move out now, because they'd still end up in the ICU for a good while, rather than in your arms at home. Babies are best when fully baked!
